Have you ever been to a 3rd World Country?

No, well maybe you have and maybe you have been there very recently, you just didn’t realize that you had made the trip! If you have recently been in a MacDonald’s or a Wendy’s or a myriad of other fast food establishments in our area of Southern California then you have been in what is tantamount to a 3rd World Country.

While visiting these fast food establishments you probably won’t be able understand the service employees as most of them won’t be able to speak very good English if they can speak any at all. Because they don’t speak any English or speak it poorly they probably won’t be able to understand you either. These conditions make it very similar to traveling in a 3rd world country so you can kid yourself and believe that you are getting a wonderful FREE trip to another country or you can stop kidding yourself and start understanding just how badly you are being ripped off right here in your country, the good old U.S of A.

The travel benefit to us in Southern California is not that big a deal because we are only being transported in our minds to Mexico which is actually right next door to Southern California. Oh yes, another benefit is that when you finally get your order it may or may not be what you ordered but you can just think of that as another surprise benefit of your travels to this lovely Spanish speaking land.

Our corrupt politicians have told us that these Mexican speaking people are sorely needed in America because Americans will no longer do these jobs. They have Bullshitted us for so long that I believe they actually believe what they have been telling us. If you believe that this is true then you are living in a fantasy world.

I can’t prove that all Mexican speaking service employees in our fast food restaurants are illegal, but I believe many are and I believe they are being paid sub-standard wages. I also believe that their employers are being very short sighted because most of these fast food establishments were reasonably priced but now most are overpriced for what they are delivering to the general public. This reeks of unreasonable individual product profits but not necessarily exorbitant total profits because the customer base has probably been lowered because the quality of the products and the service has been reduced. Most of my trips to these places show that they are seldom extremely busy and recently I have never seen the facilities completely full even at the busiest eating times of the day.

Now let’s compare this kind of Southern California business with a like type business, a fast food hamburger joint called In-N-Out Burgers. When you go to any one of their locations you will walk into a brightly lit pleasantly decorated eating establishment with a very good understanding of their continuous turnover time. When you walk up to the counter you will be warmly greeted by a young personable employee with the ability to speak very good English and also the ability to understand your order. In short after the exchange you are sure they know exactly what you ordered and that it will be handled quickly and efficiently. This fast food establishment will normally have 2 or 3 times the number of customers in the facility as one of the 3rd world country establishments has in house at the same time of day.

THESE FINE YOUNG AMERICANS MUST BE THE PEOPLE OUR POLITICIANS TELL US WILL NOT WORK IN THESE KINDS OFJOBS!!!!! Funny that In-N-Out Burgers makes and sells a better product quickly and still at a very reasonable price with these English speaking employees.

These are exactly the kinds of people I would like to see working again in these kinds of jobs all over America.

Now I am not foolish enough to believe that there are no jobs in America that some Americans won’t do, but I am optimistic enough to believe that America is still a great country with many great Americans. If the millions of out of work Americans are not paid by our government NOT TO WORK then they will work at whatever they can in order to put food on the table for their families. And they will continue to try and improve their lot in life. This is the American way.

We need to stop the influx of people into this country who really don’t want to become Americans and give back to Americans the ability to hold their heads up high and begin their careers with entry level jobs in all types of businesses.

It really is time for us to get back to being the America that we all love and care for. We must cease moving further in the direction of becoming a 3rd world country. We must vote out this administration and all other elected officials who are bound and determined to turn this magnificent country into a mistake and a 3rd World Country!!!!
