Are you as sick as I am of hearing politicians on TV enumerate all that is wrong with our government! When they do, I would expect the interviewer to ask them the simple logical question “What are you doing about it”. But do you ever hear that question asked? I don’t! Many of our Representatives and our Senators have been in office for over 10 years and a great many of them have been in office for 30 or 40 years.
In all this time our country has been going to hell! So it is logical to me that if these people have been there during this time and have not stopped this terrible erosion of our country they must in some way be responsible for it.
These members of Congress have been there for at least 10 years and some for nearly 50 years. During this time our country has gone from being the greatest country in the world to the point where in many ways we have become a JOKE country. These people were there in Congress so they HAVE BEEN RESPONSIBLE FOR OUR FAILURES! They have become powerful but have not performed as We The People have expected. They should be replaced and many should be investigated for criminal liability!

I must admit that their combined ignorance about how to run our country is enough to destroy the most wonderful country in our history! Let’s get people in these jobs who can do them well!

Senator Dick Durbin has been a Senator for 18 years. Before that he was a Representative for 14 years. He is currently the Minority Whip in the Senate but can you tell me one worthwhile thing he has done since being in Congress? He must have done something in 32 years but what has he done that has made America a better place? He was certainly there while we were getting so deep in debt!!!!
Representative Nancy Pelosi has been in the House for 28 years. She is currently the House Minority Leader. What has she done except make a lot of crazy talk speeches. Remember she is the one who said about the Affordable Care Act “We have to pass the bill so that we can see what is in the bill”! How crazy is that?
Senator Thad Cochran has been a Senator for 37 years. He is currently the Chairman of the Appropriations Committee. Does anybody know what he has done during this time? He has been in the Senate during the entire time that we have been going into the dumper. Has he been a positive force during his time in Washington or has he just been taking up space there?
Barbara Mikulski, a Senator for 28 years and prior to that 10 years as a Representative! She is currently ranking member of the Appropriations Committee. What in the world has she accomplished.
Richard Shelby, a Senator for 28 years and prior to that 8 years as a Representative! He is currently the Chairman of the Banking Committee. Can you tell me what he has accomplished in his 36 years in Congress?
Harry Reid, a Senator for 28 years and prior to that 4 years as a Representative! He is currently the Minority Leader of the Democratic Caucus in the Senate and was previously the Majority Leader. He was very successful while Majority Leader at obstructing all activity of the entire Congress.
Dianne Feinstein, a Senator for 23 years! She is currently the Ranking member of the Intelligence Committee. (In her case this is an Oxymoron).
Barbara Boxer, a Senator for 22 years! She was previously a Representative but I am not sure of just how long she served there. She is currently the Ranking member of the Environment Committee and the Vice Chairman of the Ethics Committee. (In her case this is truly an Oxymoron)
Patty Murray, a Senator for 22 years! Jim Inhofe, a Senator for 21 years! Ron Wyden, a Senator for 19 years!
Pat Roberts, a Senator for 18 years, prior to that a Representative for 16 years! Jack Reed, a Senator for 18 years, prior to that a Representative for 6 years! Jeff Sessions, Susan Collins and Mike Enzi have all been Senators for 18 years!
Senator Chuck Schumer, a Senator for 16 years, prior to that a Representative for 18 years (Considered by many to be the leader in the Democratic Caucus)!
Mike Crapo, a Senator for 16 years, a Representative for 6 years. Bernie Sanders, Senator for 8 years, Representative for 16 years (and he has the audacity to think he should be President)! Brown, a Senator for 8 years and a Representative for 14 years! Casey, Jr. Corker, McCaskill, Klobuchar, Whitehouse, Tester, Barrasso and Wicker all Senators for 8 years.
John Conyers, a Representative for 50 years (The Dean of the House)! Charles Rangel, Representative for 44 years, Hal Rogers, Representative for 34 years, currently the Chairman of the Appropriations Committee. Smith, Representative for 34 years, Steny Hoyer, 34 years and Minority Whip!
John Boehner, 24 years and currently Speaker of the House, DeLauro, Peterson, Maxine Waters and Johnson all 24 years as Representatives!
And the list goes on and on and on. These people and many, many more have been suckling from the teats of the political pig for years and doing very little to earn their cushy jobs. These above have all been there during the slide of America into the toilet. Graft and corruption has grown by leaps and bounds while they have been in their offices. We have gone from a proud, strong nation to today when we have become a JOKE country. We have become a country where the people ask what can you give me today versus, what can I do for my country. The citizens of this country must start asking themselves what their representatives are doing for America and not what are they doing for me?
America, WAKE UP this foolishness must stop or our once great country will be flushed down the drain. I once saw a photo of Obama with the caption; I put the country in the toilet, elect Hillary and she will flush it!
This administration has been conned by our enemies and have pissed off all of our friends. This Congress has done very little to stand in the way or this administration destroying our country. Our unemployment is about 10% regardless of what this lying administration says and in addition to our $18 Trillion indebtedness our unfunded liabilities are astronomical!
WHAT IN THE HELL ARE THESE PEOPLE WHO WERE ELECTED TO MANAGE OUR COUNTRY DOING? SOMEBODY MUST BEGIN TO ASK THEM WHAT THEY ARE DOING ABOUT THE MESS THEY HAVE MADE AND THE DESTRUCTION THEY HAVE CAUSED?
PS, I will tell you this they might not be taking care of America, but many of them start their political careers fairly poor but for some unknown reason they finally leave office very rich! This is pretty hard to do on a salary only. Is it possible that there is some corruption going on in Washington, DC???
If they were taking as good care of our money as they take with theirs the country would be very solvent indeed!!!!!
